The Stop-doing List

Making lists is one of the things I like doing. I have a daily to-do lists, also a yearly projects and goals, and what I want to accomplish on the long term. But I spend little or no time on what I’m going to stop doing.
I know I need a stop doing list because it’s as important as a start doing list, but I have never made one for myself. Don’t know why!
Recently I have been thinking through a list of thinks I have to stop doing and I found it hard to create.
That’s why  I came up with some  reason why I need a stop doing list:

Where am heading to?
Some of the thing am doing now will not take me to my desired destination, so I have to let go some attitude and add them to my stop doing list to enable me focus on where am heading to.

What am I selfish about?
There are some things on my stop doing list I really love doing.  But am considering reinventing my roles and stop doing so things I really do love. Just because I like something doesn't mean it is right for me.

Who am I afraid to disappoint?
The fear of not wanting to disappoint others is what has kept me doing what I should have let go of a long time ago. And that is why I have trouble with some of my stop doing list, because I will eventually disappoint someone.
That’s why answering the first question of where am heading has to be my ultimate quest, as it will guide my decision making process.
The stop-doing list may be the most important list I have to make this New Year as it will guide me to have a good start-doing list

What To Do With A Man Who Is Still With You, But Live For Someone Else

The wandering man is a real problem for many women. A man can feel challenged by other women, afraid of how close your relationship is turning, and a man can also feel unneeded or unwanted at home. Those are top reasons, why a man is going to turn to someone else for an intimate relationship, but it doesn't mean that you can’t get passed this stage and turn him into the loving mature one woman man you wish he would be. Think about what your man is getting from another woman.

Does she listen to him, does she do sexual things you won’t, does she give him food and drink to calm him, or does the other woman give him a package deal of silence and sex that you don’t?

After you concluded, about what he is getting from other women; you need to add that to your relationship. Perhaps you are not communicating, or talking too much all the time. Perhaps you are hard to get into bed, or that you are just not a challenge to him anymore. Spice up your life using the many topics you have found she offers him but you are not. If you are able to find out what she is offering that you can’t or don’t, use this for your own advantage, and take that need away from him by fulfilling it.

How To Keep Him And Maintain The Relationship

Keeping and maintaining a relationship is going to be difficult, and with him constantly chasing other women, it is going to be even more difficult. First, the two of you are going to have to talk the subject of disease, if his relationships are sexual with other women.

As you tell your man that you don’t want to end up with aids just because he can’t keep his pants on, it will get your point across to him. If you are able to track and know what he is doing, when he is with her, these are the nights or the days, when you want to offer yourself to him. As he is satisfied, he is less likely to want to go to her and satisfy her. Yes, it is going to be difficult at first, thinking about why you are having s*x, and an intimate relationship but if you truly want to hold on to him, you need to fill those gaps, stopping his need for her.

If sex and intimacy is not the problem, perhaps it is your schedule or his schedule. Is one or both of your heading off to work while the other is at home? You need to have schedules that are similar, so you can spend more time together. Get a hobby the two of you like and do it. For example, if you know your man loves to go to the movies, make it a point to see a new movie with him at least once a week for the next few weeks. This is going to increase your time together, and it will nurture your relationship at the same time.

If you find that your man is turning to another woman because you are not able to communicate well in the relationship, make it a point to start talking with him. Get up when he is leaving for work, or be awake when he is coming home from work so you can make it a point to be there for him. As you learn to talk to your man, and share feelings, and things that happen during the day you are going to fill the need, preventing him from wanting to talk and share with another woman.

What Should You Do or Not Do?

To hold onto a man, and to get passed his turning to other women you have a few choices. The hardest is going to be forgiving him and getting passed the thought of what another woman is offering him. You can ask him straight out about what she has that you don’t, but you may hear a few things that are spiteful and hurtful, as a fight starts, that you will never be able to forgive. To get passed the idea of your manbeing with another woman you have to feel and believe that both of you are trying. Don’t talk about her. Don’t ask if she was good. Don’t ask if she is still calling him. In the long run, you are going to know if he is still talking to her and it will come to an end if he is.

Make it a point to tell him you know about the other women, and that you are going to put an end to it. Make your point known to him, by telling him you want the family, you and him and the children to be together. Don’t cry and throw a fit. Don’t show more emotions, which are going to show you, are vulnerable to his every move. Do be more confident as you talk and control your emotions. As you are able to communicate

Court dissolves marriage over husband’s alleged disrespect for bride’s parents

An Ilorin Area Court on Monday dissolved the four-year-old marriage of a couple over  the  wife’s  claim of disrespect of her parents by her husband.
The housewife and resident of Sango in Ilorin, Falilat Elepo, had  told the court that her husband, Ismail Alabi,  had  no regard for her parents and was fond of addressing them rudely.
“My husband is too proud  to show respect  to my family members. My husband feels as if he possesses everything on earth,’’ she alleged.
Elepo cited an instance when her husband deployed abusive language to describe  her mother  when she tried to resolve a misunderstanding.
“ He called my mother a witch  and humiliated her in public forgetting the fact that he has his own mother at home as well,’’ she said.
She told the court that their marriage was contracted in 2008 and had produced one male child aged three years.
The complainant prayed the court to dissolve the marriage, saying she could no longer tolerate the insults.
The defendant, however, did not object to the prayer of the plaintiff.
“ I  will never allow any external person to interfere in my family affair and this is  what  my wife’s parents are trying to do,’’ he said.
He urged the court to grant the prayer of his wife, saying:  “Nobody can teach me how to run my family affair.”
The presiding Judge, Mr Ibrahim Abdulquadri, dissolved the  marriage and issued a certificate of divorce to the plaintiff.
