Sir Alex Ferguson Retires As Man Utd Manager

Sir Alex Ferguson - the most decorated manager in British football - blows the whistle on his 26-year reign at Old Trafford.

Sir Alex Ferguson is retiring as manager of Manchester United, the club has confirmed.

The manager, who has been at the club for 26 years, said in a statement: "The decision to retire is one that I have thought a great deal about and one that I have not taken lightly. It is the right time.

"It was important to me to leave an organisation in the strongest possible shape and I believe I have done so."

The Scotsman secured his 13th Premier League title with Manchester United two weeks ago and is the most successful manager in British football history.

The deal to appoint a successor has already been done and approved by the club's board, understands Sky News City Editor Mark Kleinman.

An announcement is expected within days, with Sky sources saying Everton boss David Moyes is in "pole position" to get the job.

Ferguson, 71, will stay at Manchester United as a director and an ambassador, but now has just two games left with the famous club.

"With these activities, along with my many other interests, I am looking forward to the future," Ferguson said.

"I must pay tribute to my family, their love and support has been essential."

Genevieve Nnaji Begging D’banj To Take Her Back?

Since the Kokomaster, D’banj, made a public confession that he’s still single and looking for a good woman to make his wife, we reliably gathered that actress Genevieve Nnaji has been making frantic efforts to get back into the arms of the super star.

A source, who is an insider in D’banj’s camp, said Genevieve and D’banj never really had a quarrel but that she was complaining too much because of the many ladies around him.D’banj, he said, got tired of her drama and simply ignored her. Now she wants to come back by all means…
Genny just clocked 34 and its obvious she can’t just settle with any guy from the street corner; her man has to be someone with somelevel of class.

The source said she made contacts with D’banj at least three times in the last days of April but D’banj is still having some reservations. One of his concerns, the source told Olufamous.com, is that Genny is too nosy and always wants to know everything about her partner. D’banj is the cool type who doesn’t like talking too much so he’s kind of having a hardtime accepting her back, even though he sureneeds a woman now.

There is also the issue of age difference, D’banj will be 33 in June but Genevieve is already 34. She is said to playing the card of ‘age is just a number’ but D’banj is still taking his time, as the handsome groom.
