Nigeria Lead Blogger Linda Ikeji acquires 2011 Infiniti FX 35.

The blogger in her words, “decided to spoil myself “ bought herself the 2011 Infiniti FX 35 worth 8million.
She said, my sisters wanted me to get a Range but I’ve always loved this SUV and now I own one.

Linda Ikeji also posted a thank you note to all her reader…..sees below for the note.

put this up for two reasons:
1. To show off of course...why else? Lol
And 2, to encourage other ladies out there to keep working hard and keep believing in themselves. You don't need any aristo to give you anything...any woman with will and drive can can give herself anything she wants!

By this time two years ago, I didn't have much...but I never stopped believing in myself and I never stopped working hard. I can't even begin to count how many businesses I put my hands into before one paid off - Blogging! I told myself that I will make it in this life one day as my own woman and on my own terms,  that no man will ever take away my dignity...and I did it. So can you! Yes, you! You have the power! And with God on your side, you are unstoppable!

This is probably a good time to say this... I'm starting a youth empowerment programme called I'd rather be SELF MADE, but I will tell y'all more about it later.

Lastly, if you've ever opened this blog to read its content, thank you! You can't begin to imagine how much you've changed my life! Kisses!!!

What Are You Attracting To Your Life?

By Ikpeme, Ekanem Edem

Take a pause and analyze your thoughts. What are your innermost thoughts as regards your job, health, education, business, life etc. Do you think positive or negative about these things? Wherein lies your thoughts, there will you dwell.

Let me start by sharing a story that happened in my office.

Mr. E. (pseudo name) was a colleague (we shared the same office) whose skill was greatly relied on by the management. He was very effective. After a while, he started having a feeling that The Management were planning to Transfer him to the Security Department. He expressed this fear with me and I (knowing what harm those kind of thoughts could cause) quickly told him to stop thinking such thoughts. Apparently he never did. Some two months later, there was a case of fraud in another department and he was mentioned as a cohort. He was the only one who is not in that department that was mentioned. The panel which was set up to investigate the matter found all of them guilty. The Management then decided to transfer them to non-cash areas. A lot was drawn as is done in a lottery. They all picked their lots, lo and behold Mr. E. with his own hands chosed the Security Department. You might say its fate but I think he attracted this to himself.

I ask again, what are your innermost thoughts, What are you attracting to your life?
The verse in the Bible which says “Calling things that are not as though they were” is essentially the fact I am trying to buttress here.

No life is a perfect life (trust me on this), we all have things or situations we would want to see manifest in our lives. The sooner we started acting and feeling grateful for those things which we have prayed for and made an attempt to manifest in our micro-world, the better and happier our lives will be.

A feeling of GRATITUDE for our present state, a word of THANKS and an UNWAVERING TRUST that our prayers are indeed answered is a necessary prerogative in the physical manifestation of our desired realities. In whatever endeavor you find yourself, it is paramount that you maintain a positive outlook while knowing you already possess those things which you desire. There is no doubt about this that every now and then a negative thought comes calling, It is imperative (as a matter of fact) to counter it with a positive thought. Make it a point of duty to NEVER dwell with the negative feelings and impressions.

The way and manner our dreams and aspirations will manifest and cause a profound change in our lives is not our concern but we need to be consistent in truly believing through effort that a positive outlook is the harbinger of positive Abundance in all spheres of life.

Jonathan Lacks Understanding - Sanni

President Goodluck Jonathan’s recent interview with the Cable News Network’s Christiane Amanpour, Wednesday night, has continued to generate reactions from all and sundry particularly, his comment that Boko Haram was not caused by poverty or years of misrule.
Jonathan was quoted as saying, “The sect was not born out of misrule, definitely not; sometimes people feel it is a result of poverty, but no. Boko Haram is a local terror group and that is why we call on the rest of the World to help us.”
In his reaction, the Executive Director of Civil Rights Congress, Mallam Shehu Sani, faulted Jonathan’s assertion that the Boko Haram insurgency was not a product of misrule and poverty.
Sani said the President’s assertion demonstrated his lack of understanding of the issue.
Sani in a telephone interview said, “What we should understand clearly is that the President is completely lacking in knowledge and grasp of the situation on the ground.
“And one comment after another, he has completely exposed his ignorance about the root causes and solution to the Boko Haram violence.
“The emergence and sustenance of the Boko Haram violence is remotely connected to the years of destruction, injustice and iniquity in the northern part of Nigeria.
“The major foot soldiers of the group are clearly people who are from the lower ladder of the society.
“It is not possible to find people who are economically comfortable engaging in violence.”
When asked about the privileged background of the underwear bomber, Abdulmutallab, Sani said, “That is Mutallab as an individual but this is a group. Mutallab acted as an individual; he acted alone.
“He enjoyed privileges and got connected to a foreign terrorist group, what we are talking about is a homegrown terrorist group.
“I am sure those who are being arrested are foot soldiers only; you don’t see people from the middle class or the upper class.”
